Cooking

Marriage is a little bit . . . hmm . . . routine, so we jump at any opportunity to have guests over. On Thursday, we invited Mike for dinner along with two of E's former roommates. I made my famous "Martha Stewart Chicken," but I am pretty sure only Mike appreciated it (and I enjoyed eating the leftover croutons).

We have a very small kitchen and limited numbers of dishes. When our guests left, E washed the dishes. After, he said, "You are never cooking again. You used every dish in the house." And he was right.

We're actually having pretty bad luck in the kitchen. I just heard a glass break (E is making lunch). This week, we have broken two glasses and an ashtray. At this rate, he won't have very many dishes to wash.
